Dear Valued Patients,
2020 will be a year we will never forget, although most of us wish we could. Many of us have witnessed those we love struggle with their health and the myriad of challenges that have come with this pandemic.
Still, this difficult year gave us an opportunity to find time to celebrate and an increased awareness of life. We no longer take for granted our normal routine of everyday life, finding new ways to work and play. We have also discovered ways to create special moments out of the ordinary, and, out of either need, desire, or sacrifice, we have spent more time with families and redefined our priorities.
Our practice also has adjusted to the new normal: we have had limited appointments, allowing additional time with each patient while maintaining the highest level of care, and adopted new safety protocols, which will be permanent. While the pandemic has added pressure and financial strain to our practice, it has personally enabled me to slow down and recall why I entered dentistry in the first place - to connect with and deliver quality care to patients. Dental care is part business and part medicine; Covid-19 impacts have reminded me that above all, dentistry remains a delicate medical art, and we will continue to learn and adapt to make sure we deliver the leading care that you expect.
I am excited to relax this holiday season and reflect upon the growth and change that has occurred this past year, and that starts by thanking you for your calls, e-mails, thoughts of kindness, wisdom, and encouragement, and visits. I cannot capture in words the meaning of your continued loyalty in remaining a patient, both personally and professionally. I am rewarded by your trust in our delivering dental care in a safe environment.
As we approach 2021, we take a moment to reflect and reserve time for ourselves. We endeavor to remain kind, not be so hard on ourselves and others, and to appreciate that we are still here, even with the continuing challenges. We ask that you please make a commitment to improving your oral hygiene routine as our practice commits to new ways to improve maintaining your dental health with exceptional dental care.
Stay safe and well during the holiday season. Wishing your family and you a very happy and HEALTHY 2021. As always, I am available by email and on my mobile. See you starting Monday, January 11.
Warmly, Robin Lass, DDS
